Sentimental to my core
Hey, there! I’m Kristin, founder of Keepsake Candle Company.
First things first, I love good design. Architecture, interior, graphic, product, you name it. If a box of cereal has flair, I’m buying it. I remember as a kid drilling holes in soup cans, spray painting them gold, and displaying my newly created “candle holders” to add that je ne sais quoi to my room. Fast forward to adulthood, I enjoy creating in other ways like decorating my home, photography, and learning new cuisines and culinary techniques. You could say my love to create runs deep.
I’ve also always been a sentimental person, the type that has saved any small memento from a significant time in my life, that keeps all my mother and grandmothers pieces carefully displayed to appreciate, the kind of person that still has the movie stub from my husband and I’s first date. Simply put, I love to preserve the details in life while being surrounded by beauty and tranquility.
I’m grounded in the belief that our physical spaces can inspire mindfulness, reflection and creativity, while still connecting us to the past. It’s that, plus a love and appreciation for simple luxuries that Keepsake was founded on and I’m excited to share that with you too! Welcome!
