What kind of wax do you use?
We use a coconut apricot blend wax - best described as a “luxury” wax. Coconut apricot wax is plant-based, non-toxic, cruelty free, paraben free, gluten-free and sustainably sourced. Coconut apricot wax exhibits an evenness of burn and wax consumption with a smooth creamy white appearance.

What's in your fragrances?
Our fragrances are carefully selected and often custom mixed in house. We only use clean fragrance oils without phthalates (hormone disruptors) or carcinogens. You can rest assured the air you breathe while burning your candle is kind to you and the environment.
-
Why wooden wicks? Aren't they notoriously difficult?
No! Wood wicks are just as simple to light and keep lit as a cotton or similar wick. We recommend trimming your wick to 1/8” everytime you light your candle for optimal performance. Plus, our wood wicks are sustainable, ethically sourced, and have a very light crackle sound when burning creating that perfect ambiance.
-
How long will my candle burn and how can I clean my vessel when its done?
A good rule of thumb is 1 oz. every 4 hours.
Once your candle has burned down, you can either put the vessel in the freezer for the wax to shrink and pop out, or put hot/boiling water and wait for it to cool before wiping the vessel clean.

How should I care for my candle?
We thought you’d never ask! Here’s the rundown:
- Trim the wick and remove charred wood before lighting the candle so the flame can draw wax up through the wick. Doing so promotes an even burn, less soot, and a stronger smell. The recommended length for a wood wick is 1/8–3/16 in.
- Let the candle burn until the wax pool reaches sides of candle to prevent tunneling. For the first burn, the best practice is allowing your candle to stay lit for at least one hour per inch of the vessel diameter.
- Always burn candle within sight. Keep away from flammable objects, drafts, and vibrations. burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets. Keep wax pool free from debris or foreign material. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Never touch or move a burning candle. Allow wax to cool completely before handling.
- Discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains to prevent damage to the vessel.
